D. Bruce Malcolm,
Bruce’s background includes 30+ years of human resource management experience, covering all aspects of HR administration, with a clear specialty in team building and recruiting. He created and developed the concept of “Ethical Head-Hunting™”. Bruce began his recruiting career in 1971 with Prudential Assurance. There he recruited, trained and mentored junior executives in marketing, operations, sales and administration. He followed this with five years in the home furnishing business in Dallas, Texas. There, he led, in everything from manufacturing to supply chain management. After a stint at the Dallas head office of Daystar Industries, he returned to Canada to head up the Executive Recruiting Division of Keith Bagg and Associates. There he had both generalist and specialist responsibilities in domestic HR management. Bruce has successfully launched and sold several businesses, in the commercial construction, food services and general insurance sectors. He established Ravenhill Group Inc. in 2000.

Lesley brings many years of investigative experience to the company and our clients. Using the tried and true methods she learned while working with Forzani Group and TDL Group Corp., Lesley has been able to check references and gather information with an effeciency and effectiveness well beyond the scope of a typical HR department. Her education and background in social work makes her an ideal individual to handle the sensitive and confidential aspects of search work and research. She has an incredible network of contacts and that, coupled with her exceptional people skills makes her the right person to find the ‘right’ person for you.
Account Executive/ Deputy ‘Team Leader’
Farrell has a degree from the University of Alberta in Recreation Administration, along with over 17 years in Municipal administration. This includes more than 6 years as CAO and 11 years as a senior manager in the recreation field. He has managed annual budgets to $9.6M and a staff of over 170 full and part-time employees. Farrell has served as a board member for the Minister of Municipal Affairs Municipal Excellence Awards Committee, and has been a Director with LGAA.
R. Daniel Hughes
Before joining Ravenhill Group Inc., Dan was the President and CEO of Thorndale Partners, one of Canada’s leading financial services brokers. He understands every facet of municipal work from finance to roads and public works to IT. He is in his element volunteering; whether for charity or sports, he can be found rolling up his sleeves to get involved. Among his friends and associates, Dan is known for his unflagging energy and boundless enthusiasm. It is said about him that “If you want to get something done … give it to Dan to handle.”
Michel Savard brings many years of municipal experience to Ravenhill Group in managing engineering, planning, recreational, public works, fire and utility departments. In addition, Michel has 8 years of private industry experience with Genstar, a major land development in the Edmonton and Calgary areas. During his years working in local government, Michel has held senior management positions with MD of Foothills, Counties of Lethbridge, Red Deer, Mackenzie, the RM of Wood Buffalo, the Town of Banff, Aquatera Utilities and the City of Leduc. He has professional accreditations from APEGA, ASET and SLGM.
Lyndie manages the evaluation and selection process of municipal management professionals for our clients. She has over 25 years experience in the executive search business, corporate branding, and food service industries. She holds an BA (Hons) Languages degree from University of Toronto. Her specialized training in the A.S.K. Selection Process™ and education, together with her experience, combine to make Lyndie a valuable team member at Ravenhill Group.
