We are seeking an outstanding leader and communicator to join our Senior Management Team. This position will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, and provides leadership to the Law & Community Safety Division in alignment with the mission, vision, values and Council Term Goals of the City. Specifically, you will provide oversight to the following departments: Fire-Rescue, Municipal Bylaw Enforcement, Law, Emergency Programs, and have responsibility for overseeing the relationship with our police services provider (RCMP). As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will participate in the long-term strategic planning and deliver on corporate priorities including our strategic partnerships with our subsidiary corporations. Qualified applicants will have a degree or equivalent job experience in a related area such as Public Administration or Municipal Law coupled with at least 10 years of experience in a similar senior management leadership role. Preference will be given to an individual who possesses a background with a broad range of experience and responsibility in Senior Public Administration.
